Wheel of Fortune - Black Plague

Anicius Manlius Severinus Boëthius, commonly called Boethius, was a philosopher of the early 6th century. Boethius’ Rota Fortuna, or wheel of fortune, casting a shadow over a dog; engraving emblematic of the black plague.
